I like this idea. But what should we name this second new ore?

Something Reimu based? Its mainly based on hers spell cards

There's a number of names we could use. Off the top of my head...

Magic Ore

Aerite Ore

Mana Crystals

Mana Diamonds

Magic Diamonds

etc.

I like Mana Crystals and Aerite Ore

How about "Manite ore"?

Manite sounds cool, but lets keep the Mana Crystal.

Mana Crystal is harder to find than Manite, but more common than Diamond. Its better and stronger.

Not bad.

I kinda like Aerite Ore, since alone it's not powerful, it's sorta "empty", implying air, nothing, etc.

You meld it into the Spellcard and then you throw all of the power into it with the Enchanter. Bam, Spellcard.

Mana Crystals is almost the same thing, only the power is already there, it just needs to be focused and harnessed.

Mana Crystals. Yeah, I think I like that. But Aerite ore also sounds interesting. I do agree that it should be rarer than Flanite.

It's something to consider, Mana Crystals or Aerite Ore, either way, at least we have something to work with.

Yeah, Flanite is sorta like the level 1 equipment for this mod so you don't get completely owned. xD

Then this mod's "diamond equipment" would be?

Hard to say really, Flanite is pretty good as is, and you can get it easily. It's on the same tier as Diamond, far as I know. And it has explosive properties and resistance to explosions.

If I had to wager, we wouldn't need "Diamond Equipment", what we have now is fine.

However... If one had mass quantities of Aerite Ore/Mana Crystals, one could use the Enchanter and form it into Danmaku Armor, very protective [1 pixel-size hitbox!] and it enhances your Spellcards to do more damage.

Maybe "Gap ore" could be extra rare.

Gap Ore. Now -that- sounds pretty overpowered. xD
