Fuyuki City

Our story begins with a rather modest tale. An Urban Courier of sorts that had been working late one night. On his way to deliver the next package, it had started to rain. What wonderful luck. Still, things could have been much worse. Thankfully this was only a light storm.

This area was rather odd, however. Some say that a tragedy occurred in this section of the City. For those that had been living in Fuyuki City for some time knew of it. Explosions, great flames. Entire buildings reduced to rubble and few, if any survivors. That was... Quite long ago. But something like that was rarely forgotten easily.

I ran through the streets, cutting through alley ways, hopping fences and taking as many shortcuts as possible, splashing echoed as my feet hit puddles of water, although my run would be interrupted by a few thugs...

Woah, I don't want any trouble. Im just trying to deliver this package.

"Yeah? Well maybe you're stepping on our territory."

They all take out various weapons, slowly making their way towards me. I couldn't run, they were all blocking any way out of the alley.

As the situation began to escalate at such a quick pace, there was an odd rumbling that would interrupt the gang, and likely catch the Courier's attention as well. That's odd... An Earthquake? Maybe. But it felt different somehow. It felt as if it wasn't a natural occurrence. But what could it have been? Rather, what could it be? The rumbling had not ceased even now.

"You're certainly welcome to try." The feminine voice calmly replied. And then a woman in armor walks forward. Appearing as if out of thin air from the darkness. One hand was relaxed. But the other was gripped, as if holding something tightly. Yet nothing was present in her hand.

The air seemed to shift upon her appearance...

She calmly steps forward once again. She hadn't even bothered to assume a proper fighting stance. With a slashing motion of the tensed hand, the bat that the thug was wielding was chopped clean in half. The thug had, rather fortunately for him, suffered no injury in the process.

She continued the slashing motion, aligning the tip right into the arc of the chain, causing it to get "caught" on something that appeared as if it wasn't there. The Chain wrapped around what appeared to be a sword. But nothing but thin air was there. How was that even possible?

She then "grips" with both of her hands, she thrusts the invisible blade forward, moving through the air at an almost blinding speed. In the next instant, the gun had been reduced to little more than scrap metal. Her aim was incredible, she had managed to avoid giving them any injury. It seems her intent was only to scare them off, unless they persisted to great lengths.

Saber does not turn yet. She sees to it that the Thugs are gone first, and then she finally turns to the Courier. Her hands return to her sides. Her hands lose their grip and the air returns to normal in the alleway. "It is what is expected of a Knight. And it is you who called me here, after all."
