The tv is on, a news report mentions the hit game, "Sword Art Online"... "Record sales and high acclaim make this set to be the biggest game in history! It's seeing a world-wide release today."

A new game has been created and met with many positive reviews...A game known as "Sword Art Online"...I was a beta tester who got to preorder but...More than that, I'm a hacker of the game, having avidly found a grand amount of content, I intend to do it all again in the final product., lucky me, today is release day and all 10,000 copies of the game have been sold, with my nerve gear ready, I set things up! It's time to enter...

I lie on my bed, putting on the device... Link up! in that moment, I see many pictures flashing before me, and then...I'm brought into the game. "Sword Art Online".

I heard about this game, SAO a while back. I was actually one of the lucky few who beta tested this game. It was really fun and I'd like to play it once more! Sure I died a few times, but I managed to get to floor 6 by myself!

I put on my NerveGear and started up the game!

Senses... Taste, OK! Touch, OK! Smell, OK! Sight, OK! Hearing, OK!

I'm another one of the lucky ten thousand that got a copy of Sword Art Online, and the NerveGear! Moreover... I was even one of the one thousand that took part in the beta test. I had a bit of a track record of getting into the beta tests for MMOs.

This one was no different, it seems! It was also a bit of a lucky occasion; my friend Alex also got into the beta test, and got one of the copies as well! We both cleared up time today to play the game. We still hadn't nailed down whether or not we were actually going to party up, but...

Hell, we probably would. I put on the NerveGear and made sure it was properly secured. I then lie down on my bed. I take a moment to compose myself and make sure the device powers on properly... "Link... Start!"

With that, the machine whirrs to life and I find myself in a virtual reality. The world of Sword Art Online! All around me I can see other players 'popping into reality'. They were logging on at around the same time, it seems!

Wow...This place is just as amazing as I remember it...I wonder if the other two are online? I scan the lobby, though...It's hard to spot anyone through the massive crowds. ()

I look around as well! ... Though, with such a crowd gathered. It is more than a little difficult to find anyone specific. Besides, it's not as if I know what their avatar is going to look like, either... Maybe with names?

I think we all agreed on names that we would be able to friend right away. So if my theory is right. Then the other two are online right now... I pull open the menu and start to navigate it. I open up the empty friends list, and input two names.

One addressed to Alex, and the other to CP. With any luck, they'd receive the friend request shortly! ()

Success! I see the request appear and I promptly accept! ()

"Woah! A friend request! And from my two friends!"

Accepted!

"Dang, this game is even better than last time I played. Everything feels so real. The air smells so good... the oak feels so real... And... water is wet! This is the best thing ever! Naturally I'd want to find a girlfriend, but... most likely all the girls here is just men posing as girls. I can see a couple in front of me, flirting it up."

"Great! They're both online right now! Now let's see..." I start navigating through the menu again. This time I send them party invites! ()

Well, I have nothing better to do! I of course accept the invitation. I suppose I should meet them somewhere...Maybe in that field outside of the plaza? I start heading that way! Soon arriving there as it's n9t far. I think it's also time to access the debug... ()

I accept the party!

"I think Im going to... try out my combat. My first two skills are one handed straight combat and light armor equipment, so I should grind to get a decent level"

"Alrighty... Got all of my gear. Skills are set. Looks like everyone's heading out to the field. I better head there too!" With that, I run out of the plaza to the nearby field! Time to level up! ()

I buy some potions, then headed to the field!

Now...If the coding works like I think... I grab a dagger and strike a rock in the field. C'mooon... I open the menu and SUCCESS! A debug console has appeared on the left side of my menu! Yes! Now I can really have fun! But den I notice you two! Oh, hey! Over here! ()

"Hey!" I give a wave. "You came out here to level too, huh? Maybe if we do it fast enough, we can get really good gear and take down the boss!" ()

I arrive! "Im here, Im here! I saw a couple ordering food and took a long time, creating a large line that blocked the potion shop"

I have just the thing to help with leveling. Uh, may wanna get your weapons ready... I open my menu and begin messing around with it for a moment... ()

"Eh? Alright!" I then ready my sword! Nothing special, but... Still! ()

"Im ready"

Hmm...Aha! THERE IT IS! Several boars spawn on our position! ()

"Whoa! That's a lot!" I waste little time in starting the fight! Since we're partied up, the drops and experience are divided between us. Not counting the "final blow bonus", of course. ()

"Dang, so much boars!"

I draw my sword!

I dive in as well, swinging my two-handed longsword with relative ease! Being a beta tester really helped with my combat experience here. ()

AN OINKOINK RUNS AT CP! AND ONE AT KARASU TEW! ()

I dodge roll around the beast's attack, and then I turn to face it properly. I already begin to charge up a sword skill, and in the next instant I unleash it! "Haaah!" ()

A Frenzy Boar begins a charge towards Alex as well! ()

I counter the Boar, then counterattack, giving it a few good strikes at its back!

Hup! I jump onto it's back and ride it around! (...)

The boar attacking Karasu is defeated rather easily! ()
