RWBY: Custom factions list

This is a topic for writing down the factions we made for the RWBY RP.
Is mostly for archiving, but also to flesh them out a little.

A long-standing group of couriers, delivering information across the entire world, was one of many courier businesses before the creation of the Trans-continental communication system.

They still manage to get by delivering information between the villages outside of kingdoms, however. Their jobs require them to be strong, every member has extensive training before enlistment and after... But it doesn't always save them.

They don't just deal with the horrid monsters filling the world, they deal with people, too. Bandits, Radicals, even spies for...Many big factions.

They're not heroes, but from time to time they have been known to assist villages in need, though they'll seldom admit this.

They have several chapters spanning across each Kingdom's reach, while they're not hidden, kingdoms have a varied opinion on them. Some are okay with their existance, others...Not so much.

Faction: Chaosis

Species: Robot

Info: An unknown faction that has an (Currently) underground base Located on one of Remnants Continent that doesnt contain a Communications tower. Usually, the Citadel tower is underground, to hide itself from any species. It has three states. 1: Normal. 2: Alert, and 3: Hidden. Currently, it is in the state of hidden. Read "Gensokyo Chaosis/CP's moon base" for more information, as its mostly the same idea.

Info on Robots: All of the Robots are under command of one human who built them. As of now, most of them is deactivated, besides the maintenance bots to keep the facility running. There is a couple of classes of these robots. Class 1 is Infantry, These robots are far superior than any Atlesian robot, as their metal armor cant be bent nor pierced by any known bullet. They are also immune to EMP attacks and plasma weaponry. However, they cant handle high pressured vibrations, as this will vibrate their armor and cause it to shatter. (Example, an Chaosis robot being hit by a train) This goes for most Chaosis robot. Class 1 uses an standard Dark Energy Rifle and an emergency laser beam built into their left arm. All Class 1 robots also have close combat combat. Class 2 is Heavy Infantry, and Class 3 is Support. Finally, there is one non combat class, Class 4, which is Nanobot repair, maintenance, and human support. Each Citadel creates Heavy Combat Support, such as Mechanized Strider, Mechanized Gunship, and the Chaosis mobile turret.

Who knows why they are in the world of Remnant, why they are there, and why no one has found out about this faction. They where never on Remnant before humans became sentient, and their base has only been built after one of our characters birth. Or perhaps its just one writers way of bringing their Half Life 2 Combine influenced robot faction into an rp.

(Note: I may have made the robots seem a bit too op, such as the example I gave with the train. Bullets, lasers, EMP, and plasma doesnt effect them. Lasers bounces off them, Bullets cant penetrate them and Chaosis bots have a second layer of paste that helps absorb shock, EMP doesnt effect them because they where built with EMP immunity in mind, and plasma doesnt effect them because they are highly resistant to heat. (Their metal is a mixture of other metals, which requires a high temperature rate to smelt. The end result makes the metal very strong and highly resistant to heat) However, vibrations is their weakness, because of the metal. They are also very weak to acid, because they are compost of mostly metal. There is also one type of bullet that can penetrate their metal, and that is making a gun and bullet out of the same metal they are made from. Dark energy weaponry is also effective against them, and whatever the Guass Rifle projectile is also effective. Also note that this fraction is friendly (to us) so we wont be fighting them)

Location: In the continent next to Vale and Vacuo, it is located in the center of that continent. Currently it is masking itself with simulated dirt, grass, and trees. Natural wildlife can not grow in the simulated environment, and ground animals, including insects, does not live in the center where this Citadel is currently hidden.
