Windows 7 HP or Dell (Avoid Acers). Can be bought out at a Walmart. Possibly a Bestbuy.

As you're setting up your computer, it will ask if you want to make System Discs. This is VITAL, DO THIS. This will ensure that you have a personal copy of Windows 7 that you can ALWAYS use, even if you need to reformat.

Upgrade your Video Card/Get a Video Card: Geforce GTX 750-760. You'll run new games beautifully.

Max out your Memory/RAM: Most computers have a specific number of slots that you can see on the Motherboard. You fill those up with as much Memory as you can, bam.

MAINTAINING YOUR COMPUTER:

This is a rather important point. There's no one trick solution. But thankfully, my brother works on computers for a living. So here's the best picks:

AVG - Virus Scanner, pick up the free edition. You can customize when you want it to scan, and it updates automatically. Generally this is the first one to catch viruses if they somehow slip in.

CCleaner - CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner.

Glary Utilities - Pick up the free version, it optimizes several things about your computer at the click of a button, handy.

JetClean - Like CCleaner and Glary Utilities, you use all three of these and if there's still junk files clogging up your system, it might be time to rethink things.

Malwarebytes - Virus Scanner, not quite as automatic as AVG. But it's free, pick it up and make use of it whenever you think something unwanted might have gotten onto your PC.

Spybot: Search & Destroy - Free, removes Spyware, and protects you from it, too!

SUPERAntiSpyware - Free, multipurpose in that it deals with Spyware, Malware, Trojans, etc.

And optionally, adblocker is nice. Just remember to set it to not block sites that you like and want to support. For example, Youtube, Team Four Star, etc.
