The Mystery Begins!

Satomi quickly becomes suspicious as she goes between cars, finally, she stops, investigating the dining car. (Sorry, Im gonna need a little guidance here, do I...Declare an attribute check, or something, then roll a dice?)

As Satomi opens the door to the Master's Quarters, he is clearly still asleep in his bed. It doesn't seem like anyone has entered the Quarters, either. That's good. He wasn't in any danger. At least for now.

But you are presented with a new problem. It's probably best to wake the Master. But how to go about this? Gently awakening him would probably be best. But perhaps there's another way...

Satomi tests her luck in waking the Master. (Im gonna be wacky with this decision. )

You're not sure why the particular idea to remove your shoe and then place your now bare foot in front of the Master's face in such a manner so that your big toe would be mere inches away from his mouth crossed your mind.

But it seems to have worked. Isamu moves forward just a bit, with his lips pressed against Satomi's big toe, he begins to drowsily awaken... And then looks up at Satomi. "... Um... That's a new one." ()

S-Sorry Master, I got confused in my panic. Satomi mentions, putting her shoe back on and placing her foot back on the floor. ()

Isamu then smiles at Satomi. "I'm surprised, Satomi. I didn't think you had such a kinky side. If you wanted to do something like that, you should have told me... Why don't we explore that more?"

"Haha. Alright. We'll come back to that later. What is it? You seem shaken up, Satomi." ()

Satomi was blushing quite deeply, however she regains her composure enough to speak. T-The other Maids are missing! I found silverware on the floor of the dining car, next to this! Satomi shows him the piece of torn cloth. ()

Isamu sits up, examining the torn cloth closely. "Hm. This looks like it's from a Maid's Uniform... A conflict? But it's odd that we didn't hear anything." Isamu then climbs out of bed. "Give me a moment, and I'll be ready."

Isamu puts on some fresh clothes for the day, and then turns to Satomi. "Well, Satomi. You're one of my most skilled Maids. I'll follow your lead. Let's see if we can find out what happened to the others." ()

Satomi nods, she then uses her cunning in an attempt to try and deduce which car would be a good place to search for clues. (rolled a 4, yet again. )

The Train's running fine, so the Engine Room wouldn't reveal anything. Likewise, there's no one that would be in the Guest Car. That would have already been checked for stowaways, and anyone who was there, would be gone now.

No, to find more clues. You deduced that the Maid's Car would be the best place to search for more clues. It's where the highest concentration of people would be. And it would present the greatest challenge for whoever, or whatever, has done this.

"The Maid Car, huh? That makes sense. Excellent work, Satomi." ()

Isamu keeps pace with Satomi. The signs of conflict are more apparent now that the two are more aware of the situation. But to find further clues would probably require more tact...

"So who do you think did all of this? You think... Maybe that group that kidnapped me before?" Isamu inquired for Satomi's input on what she thought so far.

Satomi thinks for a moment, she then uses her skill to try and deduce whether or not he could be right. (rolled a 6!! )

It was possible that group was involved. In fact, a lot of this seemed like their handiwork. They were quiet, efficient. Smart. But not that smart. they couldn't cover up everything.

As you scanned your surroundings, pondering over the Master's Question, you notice something glinting. Upon closer investigation, it's a knife. But not any ordinary knife. It was the signature knife used by the Group responsible for Isamu's kidnapping. It wasn't just the handiwork that matched up, you had evidence that proved it. Somehow, they had gotten onto this Train.

You didn't know where they were, or where they had taken the Maids. At least not yet. But judging by how this Knife has no blood on it... And the Train itself has no blood, it doesn't seem like any of the Maids were hurt. Probably just captured. It was something to hope for, in any case. ()

Satomi lifts the knife up, examining it. There's no doubt they're the ones responsible. Master, you must stay close to me at all times, I gather that they are trying to remove your servants before going directly after you. ()

Isamu smiles. "Obviously they haven't learned from the last time. You gave them a good thrashing, Satomi. I know you can do it again." Isamu then ponders for a moment. "What do you think we should do from here? We need to find the ones responsible for this, of course. But we need to rescue the Maids, too... And I don't know where to look. If there was a clear trail or... Something like that, it'd be different." ()

Satomi relies on her luck to try and pick up the trail. (Rolled a four. )

You're puzzled as you pace back and forth a bit. Finally, you stop pacing and continue moving forward in the Car. You're trying your best to find a trail, or something that adds up that will lead to some sort of big revelation.

But what could it be? What could be the big answer tha- Hey! You tripped! The heck was that? As you get back to your senses and look at what you tripped over. You discover that it's a weapon. But this one is different from the assailants.

This is a Maid's Weapon. And as you look further down the Car, you can see hastily, and, in hindsight, rather sloppy attempts at trying to hide those weapons. You wager that by following them, you'll find where the Maids were taken. As well as their assailants. ()
