Sigh... Here we go again. Death Battle has taken another step into this debate. The next bit of this will be spoilers, so you are fairly warned about reading further.
--SPOILERS--
So this video focuses on there being new powers and forms for Goku and Superman. However, it ends with Superman winning again. Because "Divine Ki is still just a natural source of energy". Even though... It's not treated the same as Ki.
So it's another one-sided fight, Goku barely even gets to do anything. It all boils down to "Superman wins because he can lift eternity and infinity", "he has no limits". Probably the only thing I could agree on is that Goku is the more interesting character because he has limits, that he always overcomes.
And to have enough power to overcome Superman means there's no more limits for him to overcome... But even still, they're conveniently ignoring the fact that Superman can and DOES struggle in fights, especially against powerful beings.
And they even brought up his new move, which basically turns him into a solar bomb of utter devastation. But the downside to it is that it leaves him completely powerless for 24 hours. So it's a move saved out of desperation and sheer last resort.... Which he wouldn't need if he was infinitely powerful and capable of generating that much output of said power.
So still a biased win for Superman. Nothing has ended, and at least there was an actual, official comic that depicted Goku winning. Because he WOULD. That's what his philosophy is about. Superman has never had to overcome some sort of limit. He "just is".
