Sonic Chaos Powered

Chaos emeralds float through the air, surrounding the trio of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. each are transformed into a sort of glowing golden super form, the world around them is exploding and burning down, all while they stare down a recently defeated robot, and the evil doctor himself.



"NOOO!! My machines! My empire!! You blasted beasts! You've ruined it all...This time I'll make mincemeat of you!! Take this!"

The four rush at their opponent all at once, the trio with their emeralds, and Robotnik with his Phantom Ruby, rushing through the fire, explosions, and the distortion caused by the strange gem they had been dealing with through their entire adventure, the four collide spectacularly, though what happens next is something none of them could have been prepared for, all of the gems flew away from them, knocking Robotnik away, and pulling the three from their super forms, they were left flailing helplessly in the air as the seven emeralds swirled around the ruby, and all at once...A portal opened, tossing the emeralds off into the far reaches of the world, and dragging the ruby into it.

Though they resisted, the three of them were pulled into the portal right behind the ruby itself, Robotnik meanwhile was thrown off into an unknown fate as his facility and giant robot all came crashing down as soon as the portal closed. What the ruby had created vanished in an instant, as if it were never there to begin with, Little Planet included. The area grew quiet and dark...

Meanwhile, in a different time and place entirely, something far worse was happening. A completely different Sonic the hedgehog was being led right into a trap by the nefarious doctor, all of his past rivals, brought to life by the illusionary powers of none other than the phantom ruby itself! No one had expected it at the time, but faced with an entirely new foe as well - One wearing a mask, For the first time, possibly ever...Sonic had been defeated. It must have been the shock, but in that moment, everyone, even Sonic's strongest and closest friends who had been there, fled for safety.

In what may well be Eggman's single greatest victory, he bolstered his pride further, and sought out the emeralds - After all, with the blue blur defeated, there was no one who could stop him. It was from there that his rise to power led him to conquering many cities the world over, forging a new Empire for himself, many tried to oppose him, but they were only met with defeat as his army of robots grew ever stronger. Within six months, his empire was entirely unstoppable, a majority of the world was his, Sonic was captured, and the emeralds were all finally in his possession. This very well would have been the end, if not for the uprising...A resistance force had been founded, led by Knuckles, they were intent on protecting what little remained free of the evil doctor, at all costs. They've sent a simple, yet precise message out to all those under his oppression: join the resistance, fight for freedom.

It won't be long however before this message reaches the doctor himself, and when it does, there will be war. Though it seems that no matter the cost, there really is no choice but to fight back. For the time being however, this coming battle is about to twist in quite an interesting way...

Several purple portals open up in the sky all at once in several different locations, each seeming to eject something out. One of these portals just happened to toss out the little fox, Tails right into the center of a city...Perhaps the other phantom ruby has fallen somewhere in this world, alongside the other Sonic. That must be the case, is exactly what Tails reasoned, the other two did get pulled into that vortex, after all! If it was anything like before, he had just been thrown somewhere else...Though, where? That was the most pressing question of all. It certainly wasn't any place he recognized, to be sure. It might take some time to figure things out at this rate...

Meanwhile, at an undisclosed location... The Resistance is currently discussing their course of action. Amy, Silver, Knucles, Espio, Vector and Charmy have all gathered into the meeting room. At first they were going to discuss battle plans, but then something truly strange happened! Several portals were opening across the sky, and it seemed like things were being thrown through them... However, without Tails on their side, they couldn't do anything to pinpoint what the cause was, or what was being dropped all over the place.

Knuckles had a practical point of view. "The way I see it, we don't know what's going on, and the easiest way to solve that problem is for us to go and check it out!", perhaps simple was another way to describe it. Amy was the first to speak out. "Isn't that too risky? I mean... We would always wait for Sonic before doing something like this. I think he's still alive!"

Silver then interjected. "I'm an optimist... But I'm also a realist. Sonic is gone, and so is Tails. If we want things to change, then we need to take matters into our own hands! I agree with Knuckles's plan."

It wasn't long before the discussion then turned into WHO should be going. Knuckles didn't let the situation get out of hand however. "Any one of us going out there is going to pull out a lot of attention... Besides, I've got the perfect person in mind.", and as if right on cue, the door slid open to reveal a new face...

A white-furred Hedgehog with green eyes, clearly a female. She had various black markings not unlike tattoos of some sort. Black and red gloves and shoes, as well as a formal suit. She was certainly attention-grabbing...

"Eggman has a plan of action against each of us. But a new recruit? He won't know how to react to them! It's a longshot, but it may be able to afford us the chance to fight back. So... Rookie, ready for your first mission?" , he'd then usher the newcomer over to the table in the middle of the room. She seemed a little anxious, but she'd do so.

"Alright... One of those portals opened up near us. So what I want you to do is assess the situation in the city, find whatever it was that was thrown out of that portal, and if you encounter any of Eggman's forces... Do what's necessary to beat them back until you've accomplished your objectives!" , Knuckles explained. At least he kept it simple to understand.

Silver would then interject once more. "We're not ready to take back the city yet. But you shouldn't encounter massive resistance. Eggman has a lot of ground to cover... Same for his new weapon. So all you need to do is prevent his robots from acquiring whatever it is that came through the portal!"

Well, that was certainly a mission fit for a new rookie. She nodded in response. "Alright... I'll go take care of it!", she spoke for the first time. Then, she'd take her Wispon in hand; it was a basic model. A burst variant, but it would do.

With all of the planning out of the way, she'd start making her way towards that city...

The girl shrouded in armor in armor did not call herself a member of the rag tag resitence, nor did she believe in their cause-or to be more exact didn't agree with their end game. She couldn't care less about finding the blue blur and his friend, nor did she care about restoring what was destroyed. One could say that at first glance the only interest they shared was an intense hated of Eggman and his goons. Because of them she lost the most important thing to her... The one she cared for, the one she loved-they were dead now as the emerald she held fixed to one of her gloves, a similar slot lay empty on her other gloved hand. It was that death that drove her, nothing else. She... She didn't care anymore. The fun was gone, it left a void behind. Eggman darkened her life when she ended the hooded girls song. That laugh... That horrible obnoxious laugh.... She'd end it, she'd make sure the fat man was never able to laugh again.

She knew better now, knew her red wasn't going to just come back. She had taught her that in time, had been so patient with her... Now all she had was her sword. A wonderful gift, but it wasn't the same. Not the same as her laugh, as serving under her-of songs together. No their was a time she would have happly joined the Resistance. A time she would have believed in their ideals and helped to achieve their goal... But that time was gone now. She couldn't see that light. Her red wouldn't approve of the scene she caused here, but she had no choice. Endulging in her carnel desire was the only way to keep that despair back-it was also the only way she could make him pay. She was an Avenger now, play and simple

"You and I both you know where it is, so just tell me, hunting after it's protector is the bigger risk for me, I'll admit, but it's all the same to me in the end! She wouldn't want me to hurt any of you further but... She'd understand if our roles were reversed"

Her eyes had a playful, but dark glow to them, one that could also be mistaken as feral if not for the smile upon her face.

"P..please miss we don't know where it is! After what happened even the guardian..."

"Please, just shut up"

She tossed the man roughly to the ground, her fellow enchinda slamming harshly against the broken earth below them. She shook her head, dispointed in his words, as well as herself.  She began using some of her suits power to charge up a bolt of energy, she couldn't let them report back to eggman, but more importantly she couldn't allow herself to be driven past that age of insanity. Most would say she already had... But they had no idea.

A pulse of energy and a brief chrous of screams was all that echoed through the night.

The more he looked around, the more it started to sink in just how terrifying this city was, there were symbols of Robotnik's control everywhere...Machines patrolling the streets, his face plastered on every sign and billboard one could see...What happened here? This didn't look like one of his bases, this was just a city that had clearly been corrupted by him. There was no other explanation. Tails wandered the streets trying to process it all, when he spotted something alarming...

Wanted posters, everywhere wanted posters. For him! And there were some for Knuckles too! And even more people he didn't recognize! This was bad. If they were looking for him, he had to run...He couldn't fight back without Sonic around! Just in that instant, someone pointed Tails out, and the sounds of sirens very quickly filled the city, strange robots with flashing lights arrived, clearly intent on apprehending him.

"Soniiicc...Where are you?" He backed away slowly as they approached, and in a moment of desperation, attempted to activate his super form - Something he only remembered wasn't possible after trying. "The Emeralds flew off after that portal opened..." Still, curiously, his attempt to call on that power caused Motet's emerald to spark and glow dimly for a second before it went back to it's powerless state, as if someone was trying to harness it's energy.

One robot dived at him, leading him to leap up and slam into it in response, he quickly dashed off, with the robots in close pursuit. Their sirens filling the streets of the city with a clear sense of disorder for everyone to hear. He ran up the side of a wall, those egg pursuers still chasing, but he was determined to lose them! He jumped off of the wall, slamming into a Robotnik billboard, it shatters and sparks as it falls to the ground, though he safely rebounds off of it and onto a rooftop as he continues to flee from them. There was one thing for certain here, there weren't many people around who could have missed this scene happening. Though it was clear that without Sonic here his confidence was in short supply, the best he could do is try to escape for now.

White Glint, or more commonly the one referred to as 'Rookie' by the veteran members of the Resistance... She was already making good progress towards the city. But just as it was coming into view, her commlink started to buzz, and then she heard Knuckles speaking over the other end...

"Bad news, Rookie. Apparently whatever was sent through that portal just sent the entire City on high alert! You'll need to work fast before Eggman or any of his goons come to personally investigate! Don't get distracted by anything in there!", well. That certainly changed things! They couldn't afford to be in the city for very long, even with her low profile...

Still, she didn't slow down in the slightest. "Got it. I'll retrieve whatever it is that came through the portal and return to base.", she needed to keep her cool... This was her first mission, and it was already starting to turn sour before she even got there! But she could do this... She had to. It was the only way to change things, and to get the answers she wanted.

About as one would expect, the City was fortified courtesy of the 'Eggman Empire', plenty of barricades and gates to keep everyone where they should be. Whether that was inside the city, or out of it... But she had a little ace up her sleeve. Wispons functioned as more than just mere weapons! As she closed the distance to the city perimeter, she leaps into the air and then fires out a grappling hook.

A few swings, a few more fires... And now she had completely bypassed the defenses, and was making pretty damn good headway through the city! This vantage point also afforded her a good view of the city... But she couldn't see any craters. At least what she COULD see was where everything seemed to be converging.

So just go where the action was hottest... Finally, Glint would touch down on the ground and break out into a full speed run. Eggman's bots didn't have much time to react to her presence, as usage of her Burst Wispon and carefully timed jump attacks, she was cutting a swathe through them in short order!

It was a surprise attack, nothing short of beneficial for her. Even someone as green as her could handle this! Of course, all of that chaos was pretty attention-grabbing... It wasn't long before those forces started to turn their focus to her. And that might afford Tails a bit of breathing room.... And maybe the revelation that someone was here to help him!

From one direction a white blur ripped through the egg heads robots, from the other a shroud of purple pierced them in twain. Motet was responding to the reaction in her emerald. To be more accurate a person's reaction to it. For the briefest of moments she had felt a response in her empty emerald. One she began to track as soon as it appeared. Her 'people' had been a dead end. But she assumed whatever could get a reaction out of her dead emerald would be a far better option. If not... Well, that depended on what happened-and of course whether she felt Vani's mercy touch down.  The robots were closing in on the source as well and served as a good tracker for her, though of course she struck them down as she went. At this point at time she'd prefer to fetch her target quickly however. Loathe as she was to admit she couldn't yet take down what lie above these useless robots. Not until she could restore her emerald at least. For now that meant time was of the essense, as much as she wanted to smash every last tin can to ruin she needed to graphic the source and then get out. Something curious to her however was that while a large focus of forces was being turned to her as expected, and hopefully keeping whatever she was hunting from death or damage. The odd thing however was that their was just as many being sent in the direction parrelal to her. Hmmm odd, but probably just one of those useless Resistance members. She couldn't deny they were strong person people. But what were they doing? They wanted to find a dead hedgehog and a likely skinned fox. Their was no bringing back the dead, she should know, she tried. Their singular goal should be destroying eggman, nothing else, no distractions no side trips. Get what you needed to gut the bearded idiot, then ended his sorry exuse for a life. But instead they focused on everything..... Everything but what would ACTUALLY make this world right! What would make... Van van's world right. That's why they were useless, to her and to anyone else. She supposed that wasn't the only reason though, but it was something she hated admitting-even to herself.

If she was alone, she wouldn't be able to lose anyone again

If she was alone... She could join Van van again, in the end

Tears crossed the Enchinda's eyes as she ripped through the robots in her way, but they were hidden by her armored attire. The distance was being closed now, she could feel it the source wasn't far off. With sword in hand she continued her duel amongst the robots, though they didn't stand much chance against her in close quarters. After all, the best blade fighter had taught her, they couldn't match her!  The only problem was that whatever Resistance member was on the other side was ALSO closing in. That... She really didn't want this to get more violent than it already was. Vanny wouldn't want that. But if that member was here for her target.... What choice did she have? Rare was it people in this world actually bothered to listen outside their own agenda. She'd try of course, for her loves sake but.... She simply didn't see it going well, not in the slightest. In any case she seemed to touch down just ahead of the white blur. Hmmm when she approached her people, she had still been wrought with sadness, rage building with her. Now... She could see where she might have gone a bit far, it was soothing-she didn't regret that. But she had also missed a prime chance for information...  As she approached the small fox, a blast of energy was shot from her hand to blow apart the robots around him. This left the area clear for now around the immidate area though... She like looked no better than those robots right now. This time.... Maybe she didn't have to be so mad at everything.

Their was only one thing she actually wanted dead after all. It served her better to act.... More like herself. She couldn't block out her heart to everything, as much as she wanted to. The Enchinda pressed a button on her armor, and the helmet retracted back into a headband on her forehead. Hopefully that gave her a less... Grim appearance. She sighed, it just had to be a living being didn't it?  Causing all this trouble.... Whatever.



"Hi there! You.... Ok? All in one piece...? I... Hmmm I could use some help, after you recover"

She would then produce the dead emerald from for him to see embedded in the slot on one hand. She'd have tried to be more casual first, or play with some. But... She was low on time, on two fronts.

"It's... Out of power, i have to find someone to restore it... I have to I just..."

The blue enchina allowed herself a moment to breath, a light smile forming on her face.


"Sorry... As you can see, not much time for super fun convos I'd like.... I can answer a few questions if needed but... Might be better to get to a safe place... Soon"

She didnt want to deal with a Resistance member, she was afraid she'd lose her cool. They were made of a punch of failures. Almsot every one had beaten eggman at some point, but failed to follow through. If they had Van would be.... No had to focus, on the fox, nothing else.

Despite her happy intent, and actions, and even despite the happiness she herself felt at acting like herself... Sadness was clear in her eyes, even when she smiled. Ever since Vaneera died it was a constant fixture, whether she herself thought she was sad or not. Perhaps it would be there from now on... Who could be sure?

Oddly...Things had finally started to ease up a little, was someone else here fighting Robotnik's machines? Still, Tails couldn't wait up to see who it was, these robots were still hot on his trail!! He lept off of the building and landed on a rail suspended above the city streets, sliding across it and almost losing his balance, but only for a second!



These robots...Well, couldn't fly, and couldn't slide across rails! "Haha! Can't catch me!" ...Of course, as soon as they gave up pursuit, a new machine arrived, a massive flying one with saw blades surrounding it's front end. It chased close behind Tails, intent on slicing him up!

"W...Whoooaa!!" He dropped off of the rail seconds before the machine smashed into the rail, grinding parts of it into dust. ... And then it continued to pursue. He landed onto the street and booked it downhill, dodging cars by sliding under them, hopping over them, and swerving side to side. None of these obstacles seemed to really matter for the grinding machine, as it kept on going, shredding everything in it's path into scrap heap. Just then he saw a building ahead, running right into a booster and now beginning a vertical ascent up the side of this massive sky scraper, the grinder shifting it's blades and continuing pursuit. Tails now had to dodge Robotnik's surveillance machines, each equipped with helicopter blades for flight. There were a few narrow misses of course, one of those almost clipped his tail!!

"Yowch! Watch it, I need those!!"

Finally though he had reached the top, a massive window with Eggman's logo plastered across it laid ahead, and he did the only sensible thing - Smash it to pieces, he went straight through it, blasting through the window on the other siding and landing onto another rail, miraculously that grinder was still close behind, having torn the interior of that room to shreds and still booking it right behind Tails, destroying the rail behind him. He soon hit a stop at the end of the rail and was sent flying forward, using his Tails to make sure the descent was at least a little easier, he went under a bridge above the highway. ... And the grinder kept following right up until it found the one thing it couldn't go through; a solid wall. A spectacular explosion occurred behind him as he slid to a halt, a strange...Robot lying ahead of him?! It took out the rest of the robots pursuing him, but...Why?

"H...Hey!! Who are you?!" He backed up slowly, definitely afraid of whatever this thing was...Though it eased him a little once he saw the mask fold up to reveal it was just an Echidna. "...Am I okay? Well...Mostly." He grabbed one of his tails, noting that those helicopter blades had taken off a little hair. Though what happened next surprised him, enough to cause him to gasp. "A chaos emerald! But...Why's it all colorless? Out of power? Well..Knuckles might know something about that, I...Don't, sorry."

She seemed like she was in such a hurry, but he had questions!! This could be his chance to figure out just where the heck he was! "W-Wait! Where am I? Why's Robotnik got control of this city?" It was all so confusing, but...Was she the one fighting back most of the machines chasing him? He needed more answers, and she was just the one who could answer, especially given that he didn't know who exactly to trust right now, without Sonic, he felt...lost.

And as if right on cue... There was an interruption in the conversation between Tails and Motet; a quite mysterious third party indeed. The only warning to this presence would be the stretchy, water-like limb reaching out for that Chaos Emerald. Almost unnaturally so. If either of them cared to look, they'd see that the 'person' was standing quite far away.

Chaos... Some might remember the havoc that he unleashed on the world. As well as his ability to use the Chaos Emeralds to increase his power. It was pretty clear what he was trying to do, then! It was up to either one of them to be able to spot him before he succeeded in grasping that emerald and absorbing it into his form!

Meanwhile, White Glint was still making her way through the majority of Eggman's forces; she was certainly doing a good job of it! For being a 'Rookie', she was tearing through them pretty hard and fast. Even the larger bots that even Tails was having trouble with... The Resistance Member used their grappling hook and Wispon to great effect for the most dangerous of adversaries.

That too, might serve as a warning of sorts about approaching danger. As all of the noise did just happen to be in Chaos's general direction... Either way, things just got a lot more complicated for everyone involved! If Chaos was sent here, then that means word was already sent back to the Eggman Empire... Things would really start heating up and fast!

"Hey, listen up!", Knuckles chimed in over the commlink once more. "We've just gotten an energy reading. It's not that masked guy that took out Sonic... But it's Chaos. Be careful against him, even without the Emeralds he's powerful. He only has one weakness, make sure you strike him in the head! It'll make sense when you see him, good luck Rookie!"

Well, seems like having Knuckles as a leader paid off! Glint didn't exactly understand why everyone gave him such a hard time. He didn't seem all that bad as a commander... But in any case, she couldn't afford to be distracted now! She finally cleared out enough of a path to get straight to the source of all this commotion...

And of course, Chaos as well. Another obstacle, huh... Hell of a first mission.

She put aside mention of her name, for now. She didn't know who this guy worked for after all. The only think she is Eggman's bots wanted him, and that could be for any number of reasons. No she'd keep that to herself for now. Luckly the pace of the conversation might allow her to cover it up anyway. She gave a nod when he acknowledged his well being. Good he was more useful in one piece than several-for now. Though she was visually annoyed when he said he didn't know anything. That didn't make sense! How could he incite a reaction from her emerald without knowing something about them? No instead he just tried to direct her to freaking Knuckles leader of those hard heads. Did they even have a competent member? She hadn't seen one yet. She hadn't wanted to resort to them, hell she didn't even want to SEE them. Not a one among them would understand her purpose, she knew full well she'd just try to turn her to their own goals instead.

"Out of power yes, you can blame our friendly neighborhood dictator for that"

She'd then turn her head in confusion. Had he been living under a rock or something? Or maybe he was...

"Your from one of those portals then? Gotta say, you picked a poor time to settle in, Robotnik, Eggman whatever you want to call him? He rules here, everything-not just this town... Everything outside of it to. That's how it he's not just 'in control' he is the control, for everything now. He and the ones enforcing his will"

She was going to continue her speech to the fox but... One of those self same enforcers were here. The only reason Motet knew this was because, being in possession of this emerald it wasn't the first time Chaos tried to make a grab at her. In fact, he was the very reason she made a more secure holding system for her it upon her hand! The enchinda would put her training to quick use, Tails might take notice, as well as anyone else around that she wasn't just a brute force like her 'counterpart' was. She was actually quite fast, thanks to her vans training, it was probably the only reason she could avoid Chaos' arm to begin with! She'd then call down to Tails.

"I'd move if I were you! Trust me, he's very much NOT friendly!"

Having given her warning, she turned her attention back to the creature itself. She knew from previous close encounters that attacking the 'body' was useless, even with energy attacks surprisingly. Her and Vani had been working on a way around that but... It didn't get done in time. That only left the option of the 'brain' she ether needed to fry it complelty, or damage it enough to make it fall back. So far she had only managed the latter as Chaos was very hard to actually ki even in the weak spot. In another life she'd find the thing a very enjoyable opponet. Now it was just an obstacle she needed to get get out of the way. She couldn't afford to die yet after all. To this end she gave a simple click to her hairband, the helmet covering her head once more and began charging energy into her suit.

"Hey what's wrong there Chaos? Slowing down?"

Though she was of course trying to goad the being into attacking or getting closer, she was it's target after all-a lot of it was also Motet's classic personality. The want for enjoyment in a fight, even when it could cost her everything. She wouldn't die though, she couldn't yet. And so she fired the energy from her hands in two shots of two, directed right at that vital brain component!

Not to far off she could see that white blur from before. Dammit this was NOT the time!

"Dictator? Who do you mean?" Motet said something rather concerning to the little fox...What was all this talk of a dictator? What could possibly power down a chaos emerald? They were always powered up, and he never saw anything that could have possibly sucked the energy out of them! On the other hand, with all the signs, and the robots, and this person being responsible for draining that emerald...This Dictator sounded just like...But it couldn't be!! The Two tailed fox was floored when Motet revealed exactly the conclusion he was afraid of...But wait, it didn't make any sense! He called her out on that too! Besides what he said next, there was also one last vital question he had to ask...

"H...Hey wait! But we just beat Robotnik! His whole base blew up again! How could he have gotten control of everything? Do you know where Sonic is?!" His last question would have to wait, some kind of strange liquid thing...Arrived, he hopped out of the way of the strange limb that stretched out before them! It was a narrow avoidance, though it was definitely aiming at Motet, it almost hit him too! "That was close!! W...What is that thing? Another one of Robotnik's machines?"

He overheard her call out it's name in the confrontation, so it's name was "Chaos"...Like the emeralds? Well, whatever! Without Sonic...He supposed it was up to him to help! He jumped at Chaos to attack, and...Went right through?! All that really happened was that he ended up covered in a layer of water! Chaos itself was probably entirely unphased by this un-aimed attack! "H..Hey!! It didn't do anything! How are we supposed to hurt it?"

To make matters worse, this..Chaos thing was flexible! Even if he knew how to hurt it, landing an actual hit was going to be a different challenge all together! Still, he saw something zipping around behind chaos...It looked like a blurry white object...It wasn't the usual blue, but the look matched! However unlikely it was, the first though popping into Tails' mind was... "...Sonic!!"

Chaos had some speed of it's own! It first just let Tails ram straight into it for very little effect; it practically didn't even react to him. Chaos had a very singular mindset when it wasn't under threat of being hurt.... But it was by no means unintelligent. When Motet herself fired off more notable attacks which could actually hurt it...

It reacted by leaping into the air, landing on top of a tall pole. It would then begin to reach out towards Motet with both of it's arms! However, there was something that brought it pause before it even came close to the likely already evading Motet... And that was Tails yelling a certain name in reaction to something.

Chaos turned it's head in a swift motion, almost as if in disbelief, just in time for...

... White Glint to arrive on the scene, she had leaped into the air as well, and was going straight on for Chaos! As the distance closed, she let off a kick at her full speed, aimed right at that core in his head! The strike connected, and it seemingly blew Chaos apart, sending the liquid mass flying down to the ground. After that, a fire off of the grappling hook, and she'd land safely down on the ground shortly after.

Glint took the opportunity to pose slightly. "I've been hearing a lot about this 'Sonic'... If you need me to play his role for this opponent, I can do that!", seems like she wasn't going to lead someone into believing that she was Sonic, so that was fortunate. What was more unfortunate was...

Even with that powerful attack, Chaos wasn't done yet! It was rapidly building it's body back up... "Seriously? I guess Knuckles wasn't kidding about how strong this thing was!"

Tails asked to many questions, to many questions she didn't have time to answer while fighting the blob after Vani's emerald! This resulted in a quick encompassing answer, stuff she'd have to go into detail on later.

"Maybe you did where your from, but I doubt it, somehow. Ether way he rules HERE. If you did beat that eggman you clearly didn't do a very good dam job did you? And no, no I don't know where that half baked hedgehog is! What's he gonna do anyway? Let eggman go again? Look it doesn't matter WHAT it is, he's a threat ok, a threat that wants the EMERALDS. You know that's bad right? Look I'm not trying to be mean here but nows not the BEST time ok?"

She was annoyed enough this journey had been for squat so far. She now had to prevent this foxes death while preventing Chaos from grabbing her emerald and in all likelihood having to deal with a resitence member on top of it all! This day wasn't turning out fun in the slightest. Motet sighed, maybe if she just focused on Chaos she could get through this without to big of a headache. Chaos was the main thing here anyway. Preventing the theft of the emerald was key. She'd protect the fox if she could but... She wasn't the hero Vani had been, she couldn't be-it just didn't work like that. She'd sigh again as Tails attacked the creature main body. Ok so maybe she couldn't blame him for that. It wasn't obvious how to unless you fought Chaos for a bit. Still it irked her, he seemed  brighter than that to her, she guessed. The irony of her saying that wasn't lost on her ether.

It was around this time Chaos began it's attack upon her,  she had prepped herself for the usual dance, at least until Tails yelled into the distance, and Motet raised an eyebrow. Sonic? Really? This was just getting to be a bigger headache-wasnt he supposed to be dead? It wasn't long before that annoyance became a look of surprise, a heart slowing moment as she eyed the figure slam her foot right into Chaos' head.

"V..vani..?"

She mumbled to herself, before shaking her head. No, Vaneera was dead. She had seen it herself. She was dead, because Motet hadn't been good enough. Because certain idiots couldn't get the job done earlier. No... This couldn't be her Vani. It was likely just the same sub species of hedgehog. Besides the clothing was different... Though all of that just served to further depress her in the moment. She'd sigh at her entrance as well. She just didn't understand, why would anyone want to be Sonic? He was useless. If anything people should want to be Vaneera. She had had died like a true hero, Sonic died like a welp buried by his own mistakes. Motet just shook her head walking past the both of them to face threat that was actually real, Chaos.

"Mimicing an actual hero would be better, or you know using your own strength. That's what I was taught anyway"

As she prepped herself for battle she noted the newcomers words. At least they could gather information ok she guessed. Still this was one opponet she knew rather well, cleslry better than ether of them did. Still.... At least the newcomer could fight, she could be helpful in this fight, as well as increase the chance of the fox living through this encounter.

"That's right I've fought him a few times so far, it's gonna take quite a bit more than that to put him down! You help me out here?"

She spoke back to glint, prepping the remaining energy in her armor and her treasured blade to fight back against the mosnter, if she accepted  Motet would then begin coordinating her attacks with the white hedgehog and dash forth firing a few blasts of energy as a distraction to draw Chaos further in before then attempting to strike close at the brain with her sword!

"Jeez...Someone's grumpy!! Sonic's not half-baked!" Jeez, the nerve of this girl! She sounds so ungrateful, Sonic's probably saved her at some point, he bet! Still, this girl who joined in the fight did pretty good damaging the thing. And more help WAS appreciated, even if it wasn't who he expected, all the same though Motet still didn't seem to like seeing them, maybe there was a personal issue between them? Wasn't really his place to pry, and it wasn't exactly his biggest concern right now, considering this..."Chaos" thing was here. Still, Motet didn't exactly help in figuring out what it was, but he supposed it didn't matter. He was definitely hopeful that this other person might have a few clearer answers...Though considering she didn't seem to know who Sonic was, he wasn't particularly filled with hope.

So it was that weird brain thing they had to attack? He gathered that pretty quickly after watching where Motet aimed her shots, and this newcomer only served to further that, he was...A little disappointed, admittedly, realizing that wasn't Sonic. But...Sonic wouldn't have let it get him down in this situation! He had to help them after all! maybe it wouldn't be as effective as theirs, but he leapt at Chaos from behind, doing a spin attack aimed right at his head. Whether it hit or not, he'd proceed to quickly switch up his movements, now hopping circles around Chaos, taunting him in various ways, including sticking out his tongue and pulling on his eyelid, as well as mocking Chaos's stance by vaguely mimicking it.

"Nhhh! Hahaha! Can't hit me, can't hit me!" Hopefully on top of the attempts at damaging Chaos physically, his attempts at damaging his pride would also succeed, at least enough to open him up to more attacks by the other two. Hopefully with this coordination, Chaos might not be quite as intimidating as he worked himself up to be initially. Of course, Tails still had to be quick, otherwise he'd just get hit. He hopped back away, spindashing, he'd zigzag around at high speed, leaping right back in to try and strike Chaos one more time.

White Glint ended up arching a brow at what Motet had to say. "Sheesh! I've been hearing about how awesome of a hero Sonic is, and then you come right along and say he's not all that.", still... She wouldn't let that bother her, nor serve as a distraction from Chaos...

Indeed, she was replying to Motet while staring down the watery-being. "I guess you're in the Shadow fan club instead? Eh, doesn't matter.", and just like that, everyone was springing into action! Tails was circling around behind Chaos in order to strike it in that fashion, Motet opted to use a few energy blasts in attempt to corner Chaos.

Glint decided that the best thing to do right now was lay down even more pressure and give Chaos even less room to move. She wouldn't close in for an attack of her own; it was already getting pretty hectic in there... The best thing for her to do was wait it out, plan out her actions and then strike when the iron was hot!

... And while everyone was putting in their best efforts, Chaos was no normal opponent. Since he wasn't made out of a solid mass, his body was able to twist, shape and contort in ways that should be impossible; he was moving his core out of range of their attacks by stretching his torso upwards, and even bending his body out of the way out of those energy blasts.

But it didn't stop there, Chaos held no fear of that blade when it couldn't easily reach his head! His arms once more stretched down in attempts to latch onto that Chaos Emerald that Motet prized so dearly, and pry it free! There was a bit of fortune that an ally waiting just in the off-chance this all went sour...

Still, Motet would probably want to keep him from getting that Emerald! ... There was still the matter of Tails taunting it, however. It seemed that Chaos was starting to pull out all stops now that it was being cornered by so many opponents at once; those tendrils on the back of it's head? Those were reaching out and sent on  a collision course against the two-tailed Fox!

Motet sighed, their really wasn't time for opinion spouting. To her the fact was simple. Sonic kept relenting and relenting and letting things pass, until it finally cost him. To her it was obvious. But she supposed his fans wouldn't be able to see it that way. Sonic had never saved her, but it wouldn't have mattered if he did ether. Vani was the one to guide her in life, she was the only one she cared about-even now that she was gone. She didn't get why no one could understand that. She tried to explain the story before, but it was always about Sonic or forgiveness or all that other twittle! It was never about addressing what mattered or addressing her feelings! She... She didn't need them to though, she only ever needed her Vani. Now she was gone and Motet was alone. All she had to guide her was making the crime right, making Eggman Infinate... All of them pay! One by one and piece by piece. She'd prefer if everyone understood her reasoning.... Van Van would have liked it that way. But... She couldn't force them to. She had no choice but to act on her own, in the end. After this it would be right back to that normal state of being. She felt a surge of hope when she mistook the newcomer for Vani, but the way she casually dismissed and joked about her just burned it even further.  Some sense would have been nice right now... Shadow? What was she being taken as, one of those emo fan girls? Shadow was even WORSE than sonic!

"Vaneera actually, she actually got stuff done. While that ones every bit as bad as Sonic. L..look can we stop joking, they'll be plenty of play time later, for now I cannot let that ball of goop get her emerald!"

Motet was in no mood for being mocked, to the point one could probably tell it's how she was taking it from her tone of voice. She was mad, but flustered as well. What was this? What she said mocked her! She shouldn't be emberssed... She should just stop it!

"One should judge what they see themselves, not what they hear. I saw it, that's how I know he's DEFENTLY not all that"

She shook her head. That hedgehog... Vaneera died because that hedgehog couldn't follow through on his duties. All he did was put a stop to the plan, not the source. Because of that it just kept growing until more and more people died... Until Vani died. People... People should understand that, but they didn't. Instead she always 'went to far' without bothering to understand at all. Whatever... It didn't matter now.

Moving forward Motet was engaged with Chaos itself, Tails helping on the side. However used to it she may be however his slippery and unique body him a difficult opponet to target properly, while allowing him to get right up at her whenever he wanted! This is exactly what she was dealing with now. Because she had moved in so closely with her sword Chaos had been able to come down upon her and was now reaching for her prize. No... Dammit no she wouldn't let him!



"Chaos...."

Energy began to gather around Motet. She had to focus for this to work, she only usually used it against her foes, but this time she had to escape and now. Onlookers would be able to see as the energy warped visual sight of the Enchidna.

"Warp!"

She called out the remaining verse as she vanished, and then reappeared behind the blob creature. She was doing what she could to watch how her allies attacked and coordinate her skills with theirs. To this end she tried to take advantage of the hopefully surprising position she was now in agaisnt and fired a bolt to shake the creature again for aiming with her sword at the critical spot, her strikes almost like a dance as she do, hopefully from three different points they could pin this thing down! She would have assisted Tails to if she could but... She just wasn't intended he proper position right now!  She could only do what she could to keep it's attention and drive it backwards and into attacks from her teammates!

Tails could only gather from the way Motet talked that she was referring to an entirely different Sonic, after all, if this was really a different world, then it wasn't too unlikely that there was a different Sonic, right? Still...He knew she wouldn't think like that if she met the Sonic HE knew! Maybe she'd get the chance if she stayed around? It didn't seem likely though, she'd probably ditch them soon as the coast was clear, that was his assumption anyway. Still, she WAS right though, there was a more pressing issue going on here. ... Even if he was used to teasing the enemy mid-fight. It became pretty obvious that taunting wasn't going to work...

...Because he shot tendrils out of the back of his head, aimed right at the Fox!, they knocked him away before he could even react!

"W...Whoooaa!!"

He landed on the ground with a thud and rolled away before coming to a stop...It was obvious THAT wasn't the right strategy. Still, Motet seemed to still have some of her own surprises left in store. She pulled out the emerald as Chaos reached for it...And uttered a strange phrase, rather suddenly warping away before his very eyes! Appearing right behind the beast. Tails rolled around to Chaos's front, and waited for Motet's attack before he launched one of his own, jumping right back into the fray to try and strike Chaos' weak point! He had to admit though...He was a little envious of Motet's emerald. If he just had those seven from before...He could be useful here! There wasn't much use in wishing for things that weren't really going to change immediately...Still, he kept fighting anyway! It was the only way to help out!

"TAKE...THIS!!" If he had been successful in catching chaos off-guard with Motet's sudden redirection, he'd slam into it's head, spinning in place for a second before bouncing off! Even if he failed however, he'd still roll right back into action, ready to keep Chaos on his toes-...Er, water. Still, even if he wasn't a match for chaos on his own, with the three of them, he was sure they could win! He still kept up verbal taunts, just like Sonic would in this situation...Even if physical taunting wasn't working so well!

"This guy's tough for a puddle! Too bad he can't keep up with all of us at once!"

He was curious about that resistance member though...Why were they hesitating? Was this part of their plan? Were they waiting for the right moment to strike? He did hope they were going to jump in soon, Chaos was honestly stronger than him, that much was obvious, for as much as he resisted admitting it, his morale was kinda running out...But he couldn't give up yet! Not when they were so close to winning! He was sure they'd just have to hang on a little longer!

Chaos was certainly a difficult opponent to read, but it was obvious when something surprised him; such an example came up earlier when it suspected that Sonic had arrived on the scene. Another such example? It was right when Motet was able to use that supposedly powerless Emerald to warp! That bolt hit it's mark, and caused the creature to flinch slightly... But it also served as a warning to the other attacks now heading towards it's sensitive core!

Chaos's form would once more begin to twist, turn and bend in ways that a solid mass simply wouldn't be able to, and it was all in effort of keeping that brain just out of reach of that sword. Apparently it had learned just how effective that blade was in the past, and wasn't too keen on letting it hit the mark! However, while all of it's attention was put on Motet... It was rendered blind, or at least inattentive to Tails. The two-tailed Fox had the perfect opening...

And he certainly made use of it, landing that attack right on Chaos's core once again! It's body once more collapsed into a puddle on the ground unceremoniously... But just as before, it was beginning to reform it's body.

"There!", White Glint stated to herself, already charging up spin dash! And when the timing was right... She launched herself at a blinding speed, colliding against Chaos and his core before he fully reformed! Oh, but she wasn't done yet. She also managed to grab onto that weak spot; it was the only thing that actually had any solid mass after all. And she was dragging the entire being along for the ride as a result!

Glint came to a sudden stop as she leaps into the air, and then proceeds to slam Chaos down right into the ground! Once more, it had become little more than a puddle... A moving puddle, as it was almost 'crawling' away from the trio. It had retreated down a drain. She'd let out a small sigh, and then turn to the other two. "Okay, so here's the bad news. If Chaos is here, that means the others aren't going to be far behind with the alarms raised. We have a lot to talk about, but let's not talk about it here." White Glint would then state, hoping that they'd go along with the idea of 'getting out of here.'

"I know a safe place we can all go to. It's going to be dangerous to travel alone anyway.", she'd then add... Mostly in reference to Motet, who might have thought it'd be a good idea to just break out on her own.

"No I... I have to go somewhere, it's not to far off, I just need to cut off when we get to the edge of town, after that we can go to this... Safe spot, if y'all can wait a few minutes minutes. I agree it wouldn't be safe to stay here when the rest of Eggman's cronies show up but... I need to visit someone first"

She was glad they had managed to drive Chaos off, and that their combo assault worked but... She had to visit her first, speciully since she was going further off than she normally did. She had to visit Vani's grave. Her shift in mood was likely also apprantly, becoming much softer than before. It was clearly important to her. Evenually they'd come to that point and Motet would not, once more retracting her helmet to reveal her face.

"Ok, I'll return in just a little bit"

Now the question was... Should they follow her? Or remain put where they were? If they decided to do so they would find Motet was far to focused on her goal to notice them, and soon she'd come upon a rather well built home-the place her and van van lived. It was well protected as anyone could tell by gazing at it but if tails and glint were following closely enough they'd have no worries of the security springing on them Glint specficully would find even if she did 'trigger' a trap, it would not activate upon her, curious...

Passing by the house Motet would upon a sort of sanctuary, though not one of obsession or honor. Rather one could tell it was built with creat care and detail, the grave stone at it's center it would come across more like an alter than anything else. Motet would lean down in front of it a warm smile on her face as she addressed the grave.

"I beat down on Chaos again today, don't worry I didn't let him grab your emerald! No that's not right... No don't worry he didn't get the emerald, but I didn't do it alone. Two people helped me do it this time, I... I think you would have liked them but... I just cant bring myself to can I? I have to focus on making things right for you... And getting rid of the ones that hurt you. I know it's not the way you wanted this done exactly but... He'll just keep going Vani, they all will. But umm you'll be happy to know I'm not alone for now, I'm traveling with them-going to some kind of base so we can avoid his goons for now. They won't be able to disturb you though I promise, all the systems are fully charged, and I'll be back soon to visit you again! I.... I love you, Vani"  

Her words work spoken through falling tears, but not waterfalls-one could get the impression she had done this several times already. Talking to this gravestone.... it was clear Motet had been very close to whoevers name was upon this grave. With this fine however she would turn around and walk back towards their house, rearming the systems as she did so before turning to leave the property. If the pair had followed her, they would have gotten a decididly different side of her than she had been showing them, as well as some insight into her motivations. Now Motet had to get back to the meeting spot! If the pair had followed her and didn't want to get caught they'd have to book it back fast!

As he witnessed Chaos being defeated, and forced to retreat, Tails began to hop up and down, celebrating their victory, however difficult it may have been to achieve, though all the celebrating did cause him to trip and fall down, he laughed it off and got back up though, still too overjoyed at their win to really care about that mishap.

"We did it!! Yeah!! Woohoo!"

Had he really done it? Finally managed to do something without Sonic there? It was a bit hard to believe, and a bit pointless considering there was still help to be found here. Still...it gave him hope. He owed so much to Sonic, he wanted to be more independent. To be able to handle things on his own, he wanted to be stronger. If not for himself, than for everyone he owed it to. He had his doubts still...But maybe if he could find and rescue Sonic through his own abilities, it would be enough to prove himself?

As they watched Chaos retreat into a drain, the sky became overcast and dark, and slowly, rain began falling. It was definitely time to go, and Glint only reinforced that sentiment with a message of her own, stating that the alarms were raised, and that more as strong as Chaos would be coming soon.

"Others? There are more like that thing?"

A good question coming from someone who had never experienced most of the dangers of this world, though probably a confusing one to Glint, who wouldn't know about these dangerous enforcers, after all? Probably a question also best saved for later, too. The sounds of alertness rung out throughout the city, yet again reinforcing the urgency of leaving, Tails didn't really have room to argue, and so only gave a nod, agreeing to come along, still...He was curious about one thing.

"Okay! But...Where are we gonna go? Well, you seem to know where you're going...I'll follow!"

Though, Motet having something to attend to did worry him...She might have seemed harsh, but She DID help...He couldn't just leave her there by herself, it didn't feel right.

"W...Wait! I'll come with you! You can't go off on your own! It's too dangerous!"

He hurriedly followed Motet once they had escaped from the city, Glint seemed to know just how to get out quietly enough, so that was one detail covered, at least. Still, it was weird...Where was Motet going?? She wasn't gonna lead them somewhere dangerous, right? He was even more confused when she arrived at her destination, some kind of...Monument? He just kind of stood back away from it, giving her some space. Though he didn't really understand any of it himself. After a bit of talking though, he waited for her and Glint both, seemed they were finally ready to go to this safe place, hopefully it wasn't far. The rain was starting to get pretty heavy, and those bad guys probably wouldn't give up in just the city alone!

In an alley near where the battle with Chaos had just concluded, a portal opened silently, dropped out the contents it had carried from Tails' own world, though what came out was not the phantom ruby, nor Sonic, or even Knuckles. Rather, instead it was the destroyed remnants of the Heavy King, it had suffered catastrophic damage after it's battle with the supers, and Robotnik himself. Yet as it's damaged remains seemed lifeless...The one unbroken eye it had flickered and glowed back to life, now assessing both it's damage, and it's location to the best of it's abilities. The memories of it's failed final battle flashing in it's memory banks. The heavy king, upon realizing it's state, and the second chance it had, only wanted one thing.

... Revenge.

Once Chaos was defeated, the entire atmosphere took a pretty drastic change in tone. Motet, who was previously harsh and blunt... She fell almost quiet, and spoke in a way that implied there was sadness in her next actions. Though the Echidna wouldn't elaborate any further on what it was that she wanted to do... "I guess some time can be dedicated to that... But it's pretty risky."

From what Motet had to say, it sounded like she wanted to go off on her own for this! That was definitely too dangerous, but before she could raise any particular objection, Tails said what was already on her mind. Just like that, they were accompanying Motet to this person that she wanted to visit. Glint had to admit that she was pretty curious about what all of this was about anyway. In rather short time span, they'd arrive at an admittedly very nice house!

She'd feel a strange familiarity about the place... Remembering it's paths, as well as feeling a sense of 'warning' about where to not go or what to not do. That would prove useful, as she guided Tails through the place even if she didn't entirely understand why it was that she seemed to have such knowledge about a place she's never even been to before. Though she didn't remember the specific place that Motet was going to... Keeping up with her was no real challenge, however.

White Glint just remained silent as Motet spoke to that monument. So... It was a gravestone, dedicated to someone that she lost... At first, she didn't pay it much mind. Just letting the Echidna get her mourning out of the way... But then she kept hearing a certain term in there. 'Vani'. For some reason... That brought back flashes. Vague ones. The only thing she could make out was Infinite... She'd rub her forehead lightly, letting out a small sigh.

That didn't make any sense. She'd shake her head, frustrated.... It seems everyone was ready to move on, though. "Right... Okay, if we're all ready... I'll get into contact with the Commander, and we'll secure a route out of the city. It's not going to be easy, thanks to Eggman's barricades.", if neither of them offered any objections, she'd then press a button on her commlink.

"Knuckles. I'm ready to get out of the city, but I'm not alone. Got any routes we could use?", she'd ask. Prompting a thoughtful 'hm' on the other side.

"So you don't know the way..." , the Echidna then clicked his tongue once. "Okay. One second."

With that, another voice then popped onto the commlink. "Okay, I've got your location, and the quickest and easiest way out is... Turn right from that house you're at, then follow that main road straight towards the gates!", Amy. She was more of the brains of the Resistance. Some might find that surprising, but then again, Glint had only recently joined... So she didn't have much information to work off of in that regard.

"Alright. I know how we're getting out of here. If you two are ready, let's not waste any more time! And be ready, I don't doubt that we're going to run into a lot of Eggman's robots on the way!", if nothing else was going to hold them up... White Glint would then lead the way out of the city!

Hopefully, they could just take a quick run out, but it would likely never be quite that easy...

Motet sighed, it wasn't one of anger or rage,. With the mood that she was in that just wasnt possible for her right now. Her tone was more of defest than anything else. She was a little confused as to how they managed through all the security so easy but.... Whatever. She didn't care right now.

"You really shouldn't follow a lady to her private quarters you know... I wouldn't care if it was mine but... It's hers"

Their was no fight in her words at That point, just a simple state of fact. She wasn't in the mood to counter back hand comments or have little spats. This was quite a departure from the additude they had seen so far. It was also why she wanted to come here alone-this was a private affair....  It didn't matter, as much as she disliked it she supposed they couldn't let a stranger wander off alone.

"I guess we should just go... I don't want them to come here, for reasons I'm sure you understand?"

She tried to give a bit of her normal additude, the one she had first showed with tails. But more likely it came off as trying to hide her emotions instead. She never could hide her emotions that well-they just came to the surface. Whether that emotion be happiness, anger, enjoyment or in this case.... Sadness. Vaneera had been the one person to understand her, the only one to give her a chance-the only one who even tried to understand her, she was the one she... Loved. Now? She was gone, she was alone. She knew better than to expect that kind of understanding from anyone else.

Knuckles, he had said? The guardian then. It was fitting he would be the commander, she supposed. She'd hope he would be even if Sonic hadn't kicked the bucket in all honesty. As much as she didn't like the members of the resistence she had to at least Knuckles was more competent than others, he seemed more suited for combat that speed but their wasnt anything really wrong with that ether, both styles had their place-just like tails flight. In any case she didn't particually want to go to their base but.... She didn't have much choice. She didn't want to risk the possibility of ether of these two dying, if nothing else she... Respected them, even if did mock her at times. Still after visiting Vaneera this time... She wasn't sure. She wasn't going to join the Resistence by any means, that was just out of the question. But... She found she wanted to help those two if nothing else. She could try to lighten up she guessed... If they stopped being such jerk wads at points. She'd try if nothing else.

"Well then lets going right? You've got our path, it's best to keep going before we attract more attention!"

She was trying.... It would defently take time, but she was.  That in itself was quite the leap.

"Yep Tails is there, alongside an Enchinda and Hedgehog. What? No it's not Sonic or Knuckles, huh? How? Sonic's DEAD remember? Besides their both girls with completely different color schemes. *Sigh* No Falke, they didn't swap their genders as a disguise, that would make zero sense in this situation. Why? They would have changed Tails gender to you dunderhead! Just... Just get in position ok? Were gonna trail them-finally get our revenge on that fox for the island!"

Carrotia sighed as she finished her communication, the rabbit teen was often in her own world but Falke, Falke was just out there complelty. It was quite annoying at times, even getting in the way of her flirtations with the adorable resistence members. She had some really good ones going at times to! Oh well... In the end they were a team, and an effective one alongside Bearenger. Of course that's why Eggman had them out here fetching up the ragtag rebels. It was a shame to ruin such cute little lives but it was their own fault for going against Eggman to begin with. Besides, they were with Tails. Adorable or not that's one fox that was getting broken down! Maybe robotize them so Metal Tails has a nice little twin! Maybe she could catch that Enchinda for herself though.... Or maybe the hedgehog? Oh why not both! They were absolutely breath taking! Really was a shame she had to make them go boom first.  The rabbit would detach her Extreme Gear from her back and toss it out before her. Taking a stance on it she proceeded to race down the side of the building, proceeding to weave in between buildings as she did so. It would be difficult to get a  good lock on her, speciully while running. One with the balance of flight would likely have an edge, if they could watch their surroundings.

Bearenger had remained silent durning the communication,. None of their prattling interesting the bear. Instead he finished adjusting his own piece of Extreme Gear, eying their targets with a grin as they ran past below him. Though he was out of eyeshot now he was eager to get down there and smash the trio into dust. Though hedgehog and enchinda were simply strangers who he had observed from the fight with Chaos to be fighters who might be able take a punch or two before braking under his fist the Fox, Tails Prower was one he especiully wanted to break, oh he had waited a long time for this! A wide, feral grin crossed his features as he took took to his board and road down the building he was on. His pattern was different from Carrotia's however, staying to one side of the buildings he would began his own trailing of the trio!

"But Carrotia what if their....! Oh, she hung up, haha! Such a ditz, whatever! I'll just find out what they are myself Haha! A little boom boom here and a scratcho there! Oh and tails... Tails I'm gonna use your.... Well tails to fly haha!"

Falke was the most unhinged member of the Witchcarters and as such, also the most unpredictable. In this style he didn't have a set rythem or combat style, he was much like the wind. A strong gust going in any direction it pleased. That's what people said anyway. Bah what did he care what other people thought anyone? He knew what he wanted, the furs of this three and the foxs tails to boot! It would make for a great trophy and tool and he was ready to go go goooo to it! Like his team mates he landed on his Extreme Gear and rode down the building he stood upon. His movement among the buildings was more eratic flowing from one side of the field to the other, back and forth up and down he was everywhere! But it wasn't like he was lost ether, their was wild, certanly feral drive to his movements one could tell however that it wasn't because he was inexperienced on his board, far from it, if anything he seemed like a wild animal on the loose!

The Witchcarters were out, and they were right on the trio's tail!

Motet seemed a little upset that the pair had followed her to this place, and managed to evade the security measures in place on top of that. But... It was also different from before. Glint expected a lot worse, all truth be told. "Yeah, but we couldn't just let you go off on your own. This place looks safe enough, but with the whole city looking for us right now...", shortly after that however, it seemed like they were all in agreement about leaving.

The way Tails just spoke there... He definitely knew Knuckles and Sonic! There wasn't enough information for her to work off of earlier, him mistaking her for Sonic could have been nothing more than a simple mistake because of just how famous the guy was. Some people really held onto the belief that Sonic hadn't died. White Glint wasn't sure about that either way. But in any case... It confirmed that Tails was a very interesting person to bring back to the Resistance!



That being said... She wasn't sure what to tell him about Sonic... Maybe it would be better to wait for the right time... Especially seeing as how three people were after them right now! Tails was one of the first to notice, Glint would be the second... And oh, she'd definitely express her frustration. "Really?! A bunch of Eggman's bots, Chaos, and now three random goons! I'm not in the mood for this!" She fired off that grappling hook  of hers to one of the many poles they were passing on the way to the exit. At her high speed, it wasn't long before she started to circle back...

All of that speed she had built up was now sending her right at that mysterious trio, especially now that she unlatched her grappling hook from the pole! With a shift in the air, she had sent herself spinning, and then she began firing that Burst Wispon of hers! A rather impressive wall of flames began to form, now heading towards each of the three! Fortunately, Tails and Motet would have a much easier time avoiding said flames. And even if her enemies were somehow able to avoid that attack...

She was still heading right towards Bearenger at the very least! She curled up into a ball, turning into yet another one of those razor sharp spindashes, which was now heading right towards him at an even faster speed! More accurately, she was aiming for that gear of his too. He'd find that an attempt to dodge this one wasn't going to help the most either; she had fast reflexes, and would rapidly course correct in pursuit of him!

"Get out of my way!!", she'd yell. Clearly she was getting tired of all the holdups!

Uggh... She was right. That's exactly like something Vaneera would have said. She wouldn't have let her go alone ether, but she didn't want to risk anyone else though... She tried to act she didn't care but that just wasn't the case. Ever since Vani taught her the truth about life and death, ever since she cared for her... She just.... She thought she could bring herself to let others go, to make herself cold to them. If she could it would make her avenging Vani all the more effective. She could do whatever she needed to, even make everyone hate her, remove everyone she needed to. But... She just couldn't. That wasn't her, even before Vani taught her, and what her ally saw here only served to further seal it. She just... She couldn't bring herself to hate everything.

"I'm... Sorry"

That was the only thing she said at first as they dashed to their destination. She didn't say why but the others would be able to figure it out easy enough. She was sorry for how she had treated them so far. Her additude had been terrible, even if she thought she had cause for it she couldn't keep doing it. Vani wouldn't like it if she did. Vaneera respected everyone who didn't screw her over. Well, she hadn't respected mother's second before they left but that one... Kind of brought it on herself. She was one of the main reasons they left to begin with.  Still people like these two? She would have respected them.

"Motet"

The words might seem out of place at first, but she was answering the question Tails had asked her earlier, while also telling Glint the same. Their was no reason to hide her name if she was going to try and trust them after all, something she would soon clarify.

"That's my name, y'all should know... Since were working together and all"

She was clearly nervous to say even that much, nervous to even begin to let anyone else after Vani but... She had to. She had to try again. Pick herself up, it's what Vaneera would want her to do. After that she dashed with the others moving along to their destination.... At least until she heard Tails warning! She was able to turn on her heel as the two attached the rather vicious looking bear, who seemed to be holding his own at that second despite being pushed back by their combined power. Meanwhile she spotted the wolf coming straght down for her, she immeditly pulled out Vani's sword and leapt at him... Which resulted in them both landing on the board casuing a duel with one wrong move meaning a hard slam agaisnt the ground! However with her Van van's sword and emerald she'd be the one to take down this two bit fox! Speaking of.... Did he ever stop laughing? It certainly wasn't his mouth giving him power though, as she was keeping her from getting too close with those dark energy spheres of his!

"Haha! Your pretty good girl Knuckles! People's don't usually get on the board before getting smacked around Haha! Say can ya answer a question? You ARE female Knuckles right? And that's Female Sonic over there right? See I have this bet with ma team mate and..."

The new rule didn't apply to idiots ether.

"WOULD YOU SHUT IT!"

She was not that living meme! Good what kind of idiot...she wasn't even red! And Glint wasn't Blue! What kind of special brand idiocy did it take to not see that! Even SHE hadn't been that dense had she?! The enchinda slammed right into her opponet tossing them both off his board and sending said board sprialing into a nearby bridge! Said wolf then brushed himself off and stared her down.

"Gods your such a grump!"

"I had the best influence for not being an idiot!"

Falke growled and ran towards Motet, while she did the same, the two engaged in a fierce and wild duel!

Bearenger had been the reason for the Witchcarters not getting burned, thanks to the Dark Gaia Energy held within the trio, in Bearenger's case it made him even more vicious and durable than normal, and he already was very much so to begin with, he didn't escape unscathed of course but he was able to tank the attack for his teammates and keep going with minor burn marks on his being. The combined spin attacks though? That was another story! His only response was using the thing they were targeting, his Extreme Gear as a shield to keep them at bay!

"Out of the way? I'll show you OUT OF THE WAY!"

The bear would proceed to again pump his dark energy out, using his board like one big bat to smack the pair. Then, in his blind rage he proceeded to run right towards Glent! Though not as fast as his counterparts he was no slouch, and had quite a bit of power behind his fists charged with that energy, which he was now putting into use against Glent with some savage left and right hooks right at her! If she wasn't careful she would find herself on the receiving end of a brutal beat down!

Even if Tails hadn't taken the full force of the blow from Bearenger, he would have at least been able to push him back away from his team mates.... Something Carrotia was now taking advantage of to track the fox down, being the only one still on her board she was now riding around the poor fox as well!

"Ah it's been a long time cutie! Ah I remember last time we met, you played real rough didn't you? That's ok though sweetie, I've been waiting to return that roughness~ come here little fox, I'll give you a kiss you won't forget!"

Carrotia would be a hard opponet for Tails to catch, though he also had a better chance than his flightless allies! She would ride above his current position and put her hand to her lips before blowing a kiss at Tails... Though it would quickly become apprantly this wasn't another simple flirtation! Four kisses were blown at Tails... Each one becoming a pink heart of energy going right his way, if he didn't get out of the way he found out just how explosive Carrotia's kisses were as each one caused a small, focused boom where they hit!
