Fate/Stay Awake

So it was another normal day... I had gone out for the day, hanging out with a good friend of mine at one of our usual hangouts.

"The Stray Sheep Bar". It was an odd name. But it had a little bit of everything, it was a small place, they had good food, a jukebox, alcoholic drinks, coffee. Soda, or just plain water.

There were rumors of a supernatural event once taking place here. And that one of the long-time customers, and the bar's boss were the focus of it. But that was all buried in the past now. People didn't want to remember what was going on at the time.

Hell, there was no reason to. It was quiet now. It was peaceful. It was nice that way...

I was sitting across from him. My plate had the usual slice of Pepperoni Pizza on it, and for a drink I had a Root Beer.

Thinking about Saber again, are you?

I said, I had to mess with him a little bit. It was what knocked him out of those thoughtful moments.

It would be amazing if Fate/Stay Night in general were real.... Heh, maybe it is and we just don't know it. They are pretty secretive about the whole thing after all.

Heh... Sometimes I wish I had dreams like yours. I mostly get random dreams. Like the one with that Disnified Fate/Stay Night, and then Keine's Feet.... Man, I don't know why I had a dream about her feet, but... Damn. (XD)

Oh yeah... Her feet were amazing. I was standing there, watching her and Mokou kissing. Keine's foot suddenly comes up and is planted right on my face. They stop, she looks over, she smiles and as she's about to wrap her arms around me... I woke up.

I didn't clearly say it, but my expression said "God damn it".

I stood up as well, making my way out of the bar. I didn't exactly make it known that I was always carrying a gun on me. A basic 9mm Pistol, light and small enough for me to conceal. It was legal to own with the right paperwork.

I never had any intents to use it. Ever. But in this day and age, it paid off to have a little protection. I started to feel glad that I had it with me...

As I walked along the dimly lit streets, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being followed, watched by someone, or something. I tried to ignore it, just keep moving. The safety of my home wasn't far.

That feeling didn't fade, however...

Meanwhile. The shadows of the dimly lit street that Raymu was on seemed to be playing tricks with his eyes. A vague figure off in the distance, the details could never be seen. Like it was standing in the blind spot of a brain tumor, or disease of an eye. When he tried to focus on it, it was gone.

I kept walking. That feeling was becoming stronger now, like it was right on my heels. I casually reached into my jacket as I walked, doing it in such a manner that it looked like I was reaching for a cell phone.

Instead I pulled out a Pistol. As I walked, I turned off the safety, I didn't look back. I just kept walking. I gripped the Pistol tightly in my hands, I kept my finger off the trigger. I didn't want to risk it going off until I had it aimed at the threat.

I kept it hidden in front of me. I didn't stop. I didn't want to stop.

The lights were flickering, as if that figure was somehow trying to turn them off to make his move. But it didn't happen. Yet.
