As I kept walking, I heard footsteps besides my own. I took a deep breath, and then I turned quickly, aiming. And there it was, a darkened figure wielding a fire axe. Without hesitation, I started firing at it.
The bullets made impact, my aim wasn't that bad. But no matter how many times I shot it, the figure was not damaged. It didn't even flinch.
The lights continued to flicker even more, it wasn't going to let him get away that easily.

The pistol started to click, I emptied the entire clip and this guy was still standing. I stared in amazement.

I stopped as I saw that Lance swoop passed and then knock the Figure right off of it's feet. I turned to the Figure. This unstoppable... Thing that I just shot several times, was now knocked to the ground.
The figure stands over him, raising a blunt object. But before it could strike, there was a flash. The Figure slid in half, it's body disappeared, leaving only the object it planned to use behind.
